CHROME HILL
Now this was an early start, and within half hour of arrival it did not look great. You could see a bit of colour in the sky but cloud was flying in fast and blocking most of it. It was still nice to be out but with all the planning and the forecasts I was hoping for more. Then, all of a sudden, it was like the clouds burnt up and virtually disappeared. The sun had finally made an appearance and me and my client were treated to some stunning glowing light, and as a bonus a blanket of low mist started to roll in to the valley. One of the best conditions I have had for a while here. I do love the Peak District but man, the weather can change like that. This time it was for the good and we were treated to a beauty. Anyone been lucky enough to witness one of the famous inversions??
BAMFORD EDGE
Some serious mood from yesterday’s workshop up on Bamford Edge in the Peak District. My client asked for stunning views so think I delivered with this one, its hard to not get a decent shot from up here, sooo many killer compositions. Was hoping for some nice light from the sunset, think we got about 10 seconds worth until the clouds came in, but that’s the Peak District for ya, you just never know what the weathers gonna do. But, really like the mood in these shots, think it worked out for the best. Nice to get out of the house. Where are your favourite views in the Peaks??
